My name is Marc Flohr and I was born in Luxemburg on April 5th, 1977.

I moved to Freudenburg, Germany in 2006.

I am married and I have 3 wonderful children.

I work for Luxair SA, a Luxembourg-based passenger airline, since 1999.

Why do I do this "art"?

Because I want to explore my personal limits working with different materials and techniques.

As you will discover on this page, I work mainly with wax, lead, metal,…

I am also into photography, especially b/w. 

Producing artworks also helps me to let the stress of everyday life behind me.

What is the definition of art?

Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination,

 typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture,

producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

What is my opinion about art in general?

I often have discussions with friends about art and what defines art and artists...

Just let me say the following: Everybody can create art but not everybody is an artist!

Personally, I think that if you can paint a landscape, still life or a face or if you can sculpt a female body,

 in a REALISTIC way, that makes you a real artist!
